Play Co-ordinators are the senior members of staff at each service, they are all qualified practitioners and ensure the day to day experience for all children is a quality, fun and safe one.

 

They plan play opportunities, resources and evaluate quality.

Karen Egan

Karen has been with First 4 Kids for a number of years now. Karen has years of experience working directly with children and managing services. When it comes to attention to detail and getting things done, Karen will lead the way. 

Karen currently manages the Services at: Bantaskin, Carron, Carronshore, Maddiston, Westquarter

Karen joined

First 4 Kids in spring 2016. Karen is experienced in early years and out of school care. She has managed a variety of different services. Karen settled quickly into her role at First 4 Kids and is the go to person for our multi media activities. 

Karen currently manages the Services at: Bonnybridge, Ladeside, St Bernadette's, Stenhousemuir, St Francis.

First 4 Kids is a Scottish Charity. It is a not for profit organisation and all the income from our services is put back into the cost of running and developing the organisation.

 

The Executive Management Committee are service users who volunteer their time to meet regularly to discuss and make decisions on how the organisation is run.

 

They ensure the organisation meets its legal requirements and is financially sustainable. 

Admin Staff

 

Lesley McDonald is the Finance Administrator at First4Kids. Lesley has been with the organisation for more than 13 years and is guru of all First 4 Kids systems.

 

Diane MacFarlene is the Registrations Clerk at First 4 Kids. Diane joined the organisation in spring 2016 and is the keeper of our customer management system. She will know at any one time if there are places available or the service is full.

All Services are supported by Playworkers.

 

They support the children to get the most out of the service and support the Co-ordinator in planning and implementing play opportunities.

First 4 Kids is a Scottish Charity and is therefore regulated by the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) www.oscr.org.uk
All First 4 Kids services are registered provision under the National Care Standards. The Care Inspectorate regulates and inspects our services www.careinspectorate.com
All staff who work with children in registered services have to be Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registered staff. First 4 Kids are required to have all staff SSSC registered www.sssc.uk.com

Fundraising

 

Most of the income at First 4 Kids comes from childcare fees. However, to keep the services affordable there are fundraising activities. We are always looking for fun ideas to raise funds that families can take part in.

Chief Executive

 

Beverley Isdale is the Chief Executive at First 4 Kids. She joined the organisation in summer 2016 with 30 years experience. She was previously a Development Officer supporting various services in their development including First 4 Kids.

 

Beverley is responsible for overseeing the whole organisation and supporting development and improvement where it is needed.
